Honda’s Answer To Kawasaki Ninja 300 Is The CBR 300 R

Honda unveiled the all new CBR 300 R at the China International Motorcycle Trade Exhibition. The leaked images of the Honda CBR 300 have hit the internet earlier this year and everyone was waiting for Honda to introduce the new beast. The Honda CBR 300 R is a direct rival to the Kawasaki Ninja 300. Both these bikes elder sibling the CBR 250 R and Ninja 250 were competing each other since their launch. Now the fight will be taken up their new brothers.

Like the Ninja 300 replaced the Ninja 250, Honda is also following the same path. The Honda CBR 300 R will replace the CBR 250 R in most markets. The styling of CBR 300 R is different from the CBR 250 R. The headlamp design is inspired from the bigger CBR models. The side of the fairing is similar to the CBR 250 R. The rear design is also similar to the CBR 250 R. Overall, the design is sporty and aggressive than CBR 250 R.

Honda hasn’t released the technical specifications of the CBR 300 R. But we can expect the power to be around 35 BHP. Honda has taken some time to develop the 300 cc engine. So we can expect a good powerful performance engine from Honda. The engine will be mated to 6 speed transmission. Honda CBR 300 R gets front and rear disc brakes with ABS.
