Lamborghini Urus SUV Unveiled with Sportcar Performance and Technology

Lamborghini Urus officially revealed today after introducing the concept model nearly 5 years ago. The Urus is based on Volkswagen MLB platform of SUVs which is already shared with many other luxury models like Bentley Bentayga, Audi Q7 and Porsche Cayenne. The design of Urus is identical to concept model. Lamborghini hasn’t tamed down design which make Urus stand out of the SUV rush. The interior of Urus again took inspirations from Lamborghini sportscars. The instrument cluster is all digital and three spoke flat bottom steering wheel and the red start button comes with sports car.

Lamborghini Urus is powered by 4.0 L Bi-Turbo V8 engine producing 650 HP of power and 850 NM of torque. This engine is mated to 8 speed ZF sourced automatic gearbox with 6 driving modes – Strada, Sport, Corsa, Sabbia (Sand), Terra (Land), and Neve (Snow). 0-100 kph in 3.59 sec and top speed is 300 kph. The Urus comes with “largest brakes in the world,” 17.3-inch carbon ceramic rotors at front with 10-piston calipers for impressive braking performance. Lamborghini Urus is manufactured at Sant’Agata Bolognese in Italy and priced at Rs. 1.28 Crore (Approx). The sales will begin early next year and Lamborghini will introduce plug-in hybrid in 2019.
