Gurugram, India (Dec. 22nd, 2018): Attention all cricket fans in the city! The ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 Trophy, driven by Nissan KICKS, has reached the National Capital Region and was showcased today at theAmbience Mall, Gurugram. As Nissan celebrates the passion for sport with the new Nissan KICKS – the official car of the ICC World Cup 2019, cricket enthusiasts in Gurugram and adjoining areas caught a glimpse of both the prized trophy and the new Nissan KICKS. The month-long India tour of the coveted ICC World Cup Trophy along with the much-awaited Nissan KICKS culminates on 26th December in the National Capital Region. Starting from Mumbai on 30th November, the tour enthralled cricket fans across Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Kolkata.
VV Laxman, former cricketer and now a renowned presenter joined the fans to wish the Indian team for their success in the 2019 World Cup.
During the India tour of Nissan ICC World Cup Trophy, consumers got to see the official car of ICC World Cup 2019, New KICKS, which is scheduled to be launched next year. Unveiled recently, the masculine and rugged New Nissan KICKS, with its progressive SUV design and advanced technology, is designed to appeal to the new age urban adventure seeker, many of them being die-hard cricket fans.
Nissan is in an eight-year global partnership with the International Cricket Council, till 2023. The ICC partnership is an example of Nissan’s commitment to support global sports.
