Royal Enfield Q1 Results Announcement

In the quarter ended June 2018, Royal Enfield posted its best-ever performance. Revenue from operations rose 27% to a record Rs 2,548 crores (net of excise duty) in the quarter, compared to the same period last year; Profit After Tax grew by 25% to Rs 576 crores from 460 crores in the same period last year. The EBITDA % was recorded rose to 31.8% this quarter from 31% in the same period last year last year. Royal Enfield sold 225,286 motorcycles in the Q1 2019, registering a growth of 23% over 183,731 motorcycles sold in the same period last year.

Royal Enfield launched Classic Signals 350 Airborne Blue and Stormrider Sand with Dual Channel ABS

Royal Enfield, launched the Classic 350, the first motorcycle by Royal Enfield equipped with ABS in two new colours in India. Celebrating 65 years of association with the Indian armed forces (since 1953) the ‘Signals’ was inspired by the Royal Enfield’s in service of the nation and the men and women who ride them. The two new colour schemes – Airborne Blue and Stormrider Sand of the Classic Signals have taken inspiration from two of the most coveted units of the Indian armed forces. Priced at Rs. 161,728 (ex-showroom Chennai), bookings for the motorcycles opened on 28th August 2018.

Unroad Himachal| 19th August

Avid Royal Enfield riders from India recently participated in the first edition of ‘Unroad Himachal’ which opened up largely unexplored routes covering stretches of flatlands, challenging terrain, water-crossing, technical ascents and descents, twisties in the said region. The five day ride commenced on 15th August 2018 with 30 riders, traversing through the trails in and around Jibhi, further concluded on 19th August 2018.

Upcoming Rides

Tour of Uttarakhand| (7th September-16th September)

The second edition of Royal Enfields Tour of Uttarakhand opened registrations for motorcycle enthusiasts, taking riders through the lesser explored regions of the Himalayas, forest reserves and wildlife. During the course of 8 days the riders will get an opportunity to witness some the most awe-inspiring views and terrains. The ride will commence on the 7th of September from Dehradun, making its way through Lansdowne, Kausani, Chaukori, Munsiari, Pithoragarh, Pithoragarh , Binsar, Jim Corbett and back. The participants will be covering a distance of close to 1,500 kms for 8 days, before culminating at Dehradun.
