Royal Enfield 650 Twins launched in India, Europe, Colombia, Australia and Thailand in November

The 650 Twins – Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 – were launched in several countries, including India in the month of November 2018.

In India, Royal Enfield launched the 650 Twins in Goa on November 14, 2018. The Interceptor INT 650 was launched starting at Rs. 2,50,000 and the Continental GT 650 is available starting at Rs. 2,65,000 (ex-showroom). Bookings (Online and retail) have opened across the country while the test rides began in 120 dealerships in India in the month of November on the day of the launch.

The 650 Twin motorcycles were launched in Europe at the EICMA motor show at Milan, Italy on November 06, 2018. The motorcycles will be on display across dealerships in Europe and UK starting January 2019. In the month of November, Royal Enfield also launched and opened bookings for the 650 Twins in Colombia at the Bogota Trade show, and in Thailand and Australia. Bookings for the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650 have begun in all these markets.

Royal Enfield unveils the KX Concept at EICMA 2018

Royal Enfield showcased the Concept KX, a V-Twin motorcycle at EICMA 2018 in Milan alongside the newly launched Interceptor INT & Continental GT 650. Developed from scratch in six months, the Concept KX was inspired by Royal Enfield’s original Model KX of the late 1930s, a mighty, 1,140cc side-valve machine that was described in contemporary advertising material as being ‘the last word in luxury motorcycling’. The finished concept machine on show at EICMA emerged as a brilliant blend of neo-classical and futuristic design. The Royal Enfield ‘Concept KX’ will remain a ‘concept’, and is not intended for production.

Eicher Motors announces Q2 2018-19 results

For the quarter ended September 30, 2018, EML recorded total revenue from operations at Rs. 2,408 crores, EBITDA at Rs. 729 crores and Net Profit After Tax at Rs. 549 crores. Royal Enfield’s total revenue from operations rose 11% to Rs. 2,408 crore, compared to the same period last year.

Rider Mania 2018 concludes at Goa

Royal Enfield Rider Mania, world’s largest gathering of Royal Enfield owners and enthusiasts, concluded at Goa on November 18. The event saw action packed 3 days of Music, Mates and Motorcycling. An annual extravaganza of Royal Enfield riders from across the globe, Rider Mania saw over 7000 riders from across various states including Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Karnataka, Assam, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh and Punjab descend to Goa on their Royal Enfield motorcycles. Riding enthusiasts also got the opportunity to test ride the new twins on the sidelines of Rider Mania, and experience the workshop that was held at Enfield Garage Cafe on the history of the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650. The festival’s grandeur was taken to a whole new level through an exciting event lineup with the three day festival offering a plethora of motorcycling as well as non-motorcycling activities like Dirt Track races, Trials, Slow race and various other motorcycle led events.

Tour of Rajasthan| (14th December to 24th December 2018)

Royal Enfield is conducting the Tour of Rajasthan , which is a 9-day ride through deserts, jungles, forts, palaces, towns, villages . The ride commences at Nahargarh and the riders get to traverse through the picturesque routes of Mt Abu, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Bikaner, Jaipur and back.
