Thar has been an icon in the Mahindra product portfolio in India. The legacy of its predecessors, the CJs and MMs are inevitable.
The current generation Thar launched in 2010 and now the model is in the verge of extinction while considering the upcoming safety norms to be active in 2020
Mahindra already started testing the next-gen Thar. Inline with the current trend of increasing the dimensions while switch to a new generation, the up-coming Thar is bigger than its predessor. However, Mahindra tried to maintain the iconic fascia with more masculine visual appearance.
The new Thar is also built in its conventional ladder frame chassis to proportionate its offroad characteristics.
