Tata Motors has launched the updated Tata Tiago and Tata Tiago EV in India with significant updates to their design, interior and feature list. Prices start at:

  • Rs 5.79 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Tiago iCNG
  • Rs 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Tiago EV

Fresh Design Inside and Out

The updated Tiago gets:

  • New LED headlamps with eyebrow-style DRLs
  • Revised front and rear bumpers
  • New alloy wheel designs
  • Updated LED tail-lamps

The Tiago EV follows a similar design theme but features EV-specific styling elements and aerodynamic wheels.

Inside, Tata has redesigned the dashboard with:

  • 10.25-inch infotainment screen
  • New Bluetooth-integrated digital driver display
  • Updated two-spoke steering wheel with illuminated logo
  • Revised dashboard layout

More Features Than Before

The feature list now includes:

  • Dual wireless charger
  • 360-degree camera
  • Blind-spot monitor
  • Cruise control
  • Rear AC vents
  • Rain-sensing wipers
  • Auto headlamps
  • Paddle shifters on AMT variants

Safety equipment includes:

  • Six airbags as standard
  • Electronic Stability Program (ESP)
  • 360-degree impact protection

Engine and EV Range

The Tiago continues with its:

  • 1.2-litre petrol engine producing 86 hp and 113 Nm
  • CNG version producing 75 hp and 96 Nm

Both powertrains are available with:

  • 5-speed manual
  • 5-speed AMT gearbox

The Tiago EV continues with:

  • 19.2 kWh and 24 kWh battery packs
  • Up to 285 km claimed MIDC range
  • Fast charging capability that can add 100 km of range in 18 minutes
