Inspection & certification centres will promote road safety through inspection of automotive vehicles for the purpose of “Road worthiness through inspection”. I&C centers already setup or being setup on PAN India basis under the pilot project schemes of MoRTH and or by the various state governments under PPP schemes will no doubt help in saving fuel and money as mechanical systems of the vehicle affect fuel-efficiency reducing long-term maintenance costs, minimize harmful exhaust emissions and protect the environment, increase reliability of the vehicles and reduce the risk of vehicle breakdown.
ISIC – 2018 focused on recent advances in various automotive areas such as safety and emissions. It also brought to fore innovative ideas and solutions in automotive technologies to meet the future challenges. During the symposium over 20 numbers of technical presentations, including key notes, on various subjects were presented by the renowned experts.
