Hyundai Motor Company has taken the wraps off its latest high-performance electric vehicle, the IONIQ 6 N, at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2025. This new model marks a major step forward in Hyundai N’s electrification journey, blending cutting-edge electric technology with the brand’s motorsport-inspired DNA.
The IONIQ 6 N is built to thrill on both the racetrack and the street. Based on Hyundai N’s core performance pillars — Corner Rascal, Racetrack Capability, and Everyday Sportscar — the car delivers a balance of speed, handling, and everyday usability.
Powered by a dual-motor setup, the IONIQ 6 N produces up to 650 PS with 770 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds using N Launch Control. Top speed? A thrilling 257 km/h.
Advanced Engineering & Features:
Hyundai has completely reworked the IONIQ 6 for its N version, with major updates that include:
- Redesigned suspension and chassis for sharper handling
- Electronically Controlled Suspension (ECS) with stroke sensors for smarter ride control
- N Battery Management for better thermal control and quick pre-conditioning
- Improved aerodynamics, featuring a swan neck rear wing and wider fenders
- HN-marked Pirelli P-Zero tires for maximum grip
- 400 mm front brakes and advanced regenerative braking
The drag coefficient of 0.27 helps keep performance high while remaining efficient.

Hyundai hasn’t just focused on speed — the IONIQ 6 N offers a fully immersive driving experience:
- N e-Shift simulates gear shifts like a traditional petrol car

The IONIQ 6 N debuts in a brand-new Performance Blue Pearl color, with other options like Gravity Gold Matte, Abyss Black Pearl, and Nocturne Gray. Inside, the sporty cabin features Performance Blue accents, premium materials, and tech-focused design.
Hyundai will also offer N Performance Parts, allowing buyers to further personalize their car for track or street use.
