Chennai came alive on September 13, 2025, as Royal Enfield hosted its first-ever

HunterHood festival in the city at Island Grounds. After successful editions in Mumbai and

New Delhi earlier this year, HunterHood Chennai stood out as a vibrant celebration of

motorcycles, creativity, and street culture, drawing in enthusiasts from across the region.

At the heart of the event was the updated Hunter 350, renowned for its street-inspired design

and new colourways Rio White, Tokyo Black, London Red, and Graphite Grey. While the

Graphite Grey variant was showcased online previously, attendees had the rare opportunity

to experience it up close for the first time, appreciating its sleek finish and distinctive design

elements in person.

The festival also featured two uniquely customized retro-styled Hunters, with one from

Thrissur, Kerala taking center stage. This particular café racer boasted a bold turquoise and

yellow paint scheme, inspired by Lord Shiva and Kathakali art, celebrating local culture while

emphasizing individual expression. Royal Enfield’s long-standing tradition of supporting and

showcasing custom-built motorcycles was once again evident, reflecting the brand’s

appreciation for personal creativity and its connection with riders who transform their

machines into cultural statements.

Beyond the motorcycles, HunterHood was a full-fledged street culture festival, featuring a

high-energy music fest, skateboarding activities, parkour showcases, graffiti art, and dance

battles. The mix of live performances and interactive activities created an engaging

atmosphere, encouraging participants of all ages to immerse themselves in the spirit of the

event.

Chennai’s crowd embraced the festival with enthusiasm, making it a memorable day of

entertainment, innovation, and community bonding. HunterHood effectively set the stage for

the next big gathering – Motoverse, an event expected to bring together even more

motorcycling enthusiasts and creative minds, continuing to build on Royal Enfield’s unique

approach to celebrating motorcycle culture in India
