Jaguar Land Rover India has announced a price reduction for select Range Rover SV models in anticipation of the India-UK Free Trade Agreement (FTA), which was expected to come into force by April 2026.

The revised pricing applies to fully imported (CBU) models from the UK and is effective immediately.
Big Price Drop on SV Models
The biggest changes are on the top-end SV variants:
- Range Rover SV now priced at ₹3.50 crore, down from ₹4.25 crore
- Range Rover Sport SV now priced at ₹2.35 crore, down from ₹2.75 crore
Why the Prices Have Changed
These reductions have been introduced ahead of the FTA, which is expected to lower import duties on UK-built vehicles once implemented.
By announcing the new pricing now, JLR is effectively passing on the expected benefits of the agreement to customers early.
What Stays Unchanged
Prices of locally manufactured or assembled models remain the same, including:
- Range Rover
- Range Rover Sport
- Range Rover Evoque
- Range Rover Velar
- Discovery Sport
Defender and Discovery Also Unaffected
The Land Rover Defender and Land Rover Discovery will continue with their current pricing.
This is because they are manufactured in Slovakia, which is outside the scope of the India-UK FTA.

Added Value for Buyers
Along with the price revision, the Range Rover SV now also comes with SV Ultra Metallic paint options (Gloss and Satin) as standard.
Final Take
This move gives an early glimpse of how the upcoming trade agreement could impact luxury car pricing in India. If implemented as expected, buyers could see more benefits across other imported models as well.
