Ultraviolette Automotive and Bolt Earth have significantly expanded their interoperable Type-6 DC fast-charging network across India, crossing 130 operational chargers ahead of schedule.
The companies originally planned to deploy 50 chargers, but have already more than doubled that number as demand for electric motorcycles continues to rise in India.
Expansion Across Seven States
The fast-charging network is currently active across:
- Karnataka
- Kerala
- Tamil Nadu
- Telangana
- Andhra Pradesh
- Maharashtra
- West Bengal
Ultraviolette and Bolt Earth now plan to add 200 more Type-6 DC fast chargers within the next two months to further strengthen charging access for electric motorcycle riders.
Designed for Ultraviolette Motorcycles
The charging network is fully compatible with:
- Ultraviolette F77
- Ultraviolette X-47
allowing riders to access fast charging on both the Ultraviolette and Bolt Earth platforms.
The companies say riders can:
- Locate chargers in real time
- Monitor charging sessions
- Make digital payments directly through the apps
