Ashok Leyland has introduced India’s first range of trucks equipped with air suspension, expanding its AVTR lineup with three new heavy-duty models. The company says the new trucks are designed to deliver higher payload capacity, improved ride comfort and lower operating costs, while strengthening its technology leadership in the commercial vehicle segment.

The new range includes the AVTR 4925 10×2 MAV, AVTR 4625 10×2 MAV, and AVTR 4525 8×2 MAV.
Higher Payload, Better Productivity
The biggest highlight of the new range is its improved payload capability.
The AVTR 4925 10×2 MAV, India’s first 49-tonne truck with air suspension, offers a 1.5-tonne payload advantage, while both the AVTR 4625 10×2 MAV and AVTR 4525 8×2 MAV deliver a 4-tonne payload advantage over conventional trucks.
Ashok Leyland says the additional payload can help fleet operators improve revenue potential without significantly increasing the initial investment.
Air Suspension Brings Multiple Benefits
Apart from carrying more load, the new air suspension system has been developed to improve overall driving and ownership experience.
