Kia India has launched the Syros EV, its second locally manufactured electric vehicle, with prices starting at ₹13.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Available with two battery options, the compact electric SUV offers an ARAI-certified range of up to 526 km and comes with a host of ownership benefits, including a 15-year battery warranty and an assured buyback programme.
Bookings are open now, while sales will commence across India on July 30, 2026.
Prices and Ownership Benefits
The Syros EV is available in two battery configurations:
- 42 kWh: ₹13.49 lakh (ex-showroom)
- 51.4 kWh Extended Range: ₹16.99 lakh (ex-showroom)
To encourage EV adoption, Kia has introduced several ownership initiatives:
- Assured buyback value of up to 80% after three years
- Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option, reducing the starting ownership cost to ₹7.99 lakh
- Battery subscription plans starting at ₹3.3 per kilometre
- 15-year unlimited-kilometre high-voltage battery warranty for the first owner

The Syros EV is offered with two battery packs:
- 42 kWh with 443 km range
- 51.4 kWh with 526 km range
The larger battery makes the Syros EV the first vehicle in its segment to offer an ARAI-certified range exceeding 500 km, according to Kia.

- DC fast charging from 10-80% in 39 minutes

Kia says owners will have access to its K-Charge network through the MyKia app, offering:

The Syros EV will be offered in seven variants, giving buyers a wide range of options across the two battery packs.
