Aston Martin has unveiled the Valhalla Spider, an open-top version of its mid-engined hybrid supercar. With a combined output of 1064hp and a top speed of 350 km/h, the Spider retains the performance of the Valhalla Coupe while adding the option of roof-off driving.
The Valhalla Spider is the fastest open-cockpit Aston Martin to date, with deliveries scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2027.
The Spider uses the same plug-in hybrid powertrain as the Coupe, combining a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 with three electric motors.
Two electric motors drive the front wheels, enabling electric torque vectoring, while the third assists the V8 in driving the rear wheels. The system also manages power delivery across individual wheels to improve handling and stability.
The Valhalla Spider gets a removable fabric roof that can be operated at speeds of up to 200 km/h. An optional carbon-fibre hardtop offers an alternative, while a dedicated wind deflector helps manage airflow around the occupants when driving with the roof removed.
Aston Martin has also revised the active aerodynamics and electronic stability control calibration to maintain the car’s balance in both roof-on and roof-off configurations. The car can generate more than 600 kg of downforce with the roof fitted.
Other details include carbon-fibre dihedral doors and new standard carbon-fibre Touring Seats designed to improve comfort and ease of entry and exit.

The Valhalla Spider brings open-top driving to Aston Martin’s mid-engined hybrid supercar without sacrificing its headline performance figures. Its combination of a powerful V8, three electric motors and active aerodynamics makes it more than just a roofless version of the Coupe. The model will make its global debut at the 2026 Concours at Wynn Las Vegas, ahead of deliveries beginning in Q3 2027.
