Audi, the German luxury car manufacturer is the first
luxury car maker to deploy Intelligent Networking and Technology
Solutions across the customer journey in India. The brand with the four
rings introduced a host of tech-driven new-age solutions for customers
as well as its dealer partners under its Digitalization strategy announced
in August 2019. The customer experiences Digitalization right from his
first contact with the Audi brand and it continues throughout his/her
journey as an Audi family member. The digitalization initiatives
1. Connected Car technology through the ‘myAudi Connect’ App.
‘myAudi Connect’ App represents the digital connection between driver, vehicle, and infrastructure. It bundles all elements that use online connectivity with the vehicle to provide real-time information. To use these services, customers need to download and activate the ‘myAudi Connect’ app on their smartphone. Divided under five key headings-the App brings the customer Safety & Security, Driver’s Behavior, Lifestyle, Geo Location and Utility.
2.Audi Digital Retail
The Audi VR experience was launched as first fully functional Virtual Reality application for customer consultation at Audi dealerships as well as location of customer’s choice. With the VR solution, customers can get an extremely realistic experience of their individually configured car, down to the last detail. The customer can not only see the car from outside but can sit inside and also use the various controls.
Audi’s Augmented Reality technology brings
to the customer a solution right at his doorstep. Over a tab, the
customers can look at the images of car in actual size as well as a
miniature size. They can choose and see the car in various colours of
their choice, customize the car’s interiors as per their tastes and
ultimately configure their car of choice using the configurator. This is then downloaded as a screenshot and sent to the dealer team for completing the sales process.
