Bajaj Launches Chetak 3001: The Everyday Electric Scooter for India

Bajaj Auto has introduced the new Chetak 3001, an upgraded version of the popular Chetak 2903. Built on the same advanced EV platform as the successful Chetak 35 Series, the Chetak 3001 offers improved stability, more storage, and enhanced riding comfort, making it an ideal choice for Indian families.

The Chetak 3001 features a floorboard-mounted 3.0 kWh battery, which not only lowers the scooter’s center of gravity for better stability but also frees up space for riders. This smart design allows for a smoother ride with extra storage space and improved handling.

It offers a certified range of 127 kilometers, making it perfect for daily commutes, office runs, school drops, and weekend rides. With a large 35-litre boot, it easily fits helmets, bags, and groceries. The scooter also comes with a 750W fast charger that can charge the battery from 0% to 80% in just 3 hours 50 minutes — one of the fastest in its class.

Smarter Features with TecPac (Optional Add-Ons)
For those who want extra convenience, the Chetak 3001 offers optional TecPac features, including:

Call accept/reject

Music control

Guide Me Home lights

Hill Hold Assist

Reverse light

Auto-flashing stop lamp for better safety

Built Tough for Indian Roads
The Chetak 3001 is designed to handle India’s challenging road conditions and weather. It comes with:

A solid steel metal body — the only one in its segment

IP67-rated water resistance — making it monsoon-proof and splash-proof

The trusted quality of Bajaj Auto Ltd., supported by a wide network of over 3800 service centers across India
