Jeep Compass Wins India’s Highest Award for Quality Excellence from Government of India
FCA India today announced that Fiat India Automobiles Private Limited (FIAPL), its world class manufacturing joint venture in Ranjangaon, near Pune, has won the Platinum Trophy in the ‘Large Enterprise’ category at the EEPC India – QCI Quality Awards 2019. This is India’s highest award for Quality Excellence and was bestowed by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India at the recently concluded 50th EEPC Indian National Awards.
The Platinum Trophy was presented by Mr. Hardeep Singh Puri, Honourable Minister of State – Commerce and Industry to Mr. HK Dwivedi, Senior Vice President, Corporate Quality, Fiat India Automobiles Pvt. Ltd.
Ravi Gogia, President, FIAPL said, “It is a great honour for us to be recognised and rewarded for Quality Excellence by EEPC India and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. Our Ranjangaon joint venture facility is equipped with state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies that are ensuring top-notch quality of the Made in India Jeep Compass and also powertrains. This accreditation will encourage us to keep improving our efficiency and overall capabilities.”
