Datsun Redigo AMT is going to be launched in January. Earlier this year, Datsun introduced 1.0 L variant of Redigo to address the lack of power. The AMT option will be introduced only with 1.0 L engine configuration. Datsun Redigo is based on same platform as Kwid which also got AMT gearbox earlier this year. The Redigo is steadily racking up numbers and it is the best performer in Datsun portfolio. Datsun rolls our 1,00,000 car from its plant in Chennai last month. The Redigo AMT will be priced Rs. 30,000 more than regular 1.0 L variant. Datsun Redigo compete against Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 and Hyundai Eon.
