Ferrari CZ26 Revealed as a One-Off SF90 Stradale-Based Supercar

Ferrari has unveiled the CZ26, a one-off created through its Special Projects programme for a US client. Designed by Ferrari’s Design Studio under Flavio Manzoni, the CZ26 gives the SF90 Stradale a completely new look while retaining its technical specifications and performance credentials.

A completely new design

The CZ26 takes a very different approach to the SF90 Stradale, with a wide, horizontal design and a distinctive two-box silhouette.

Key design elements include:

  • Full-width front grille with ultra-slim lighting
  • Prominent vertical leading edge at the front
  • Sculpted, truncated rear end
  • Cantilevered tail-lights
  • Large horizontal rear diffuser
  • Carbon-fibre elements extending around the wheel arches
  • Black roof and pillars creating a floating cockpit effect

Ferrari says the design takes inspiration from Italian industrial design of the 1970s, reinterpreted with modern technology.

Futuristic colours and materials

The one-off is finished in Argento Veloce, a liquid-like silver shade, contrasted by Rosso Lampante details.

The wheels combine gloss black paint with a shot-peened finish, while titanium exhaust tips add a more technical touch.

Inside, the CZ26 gets a bespoke black technical fabric, satin-finish carbon-fibre and specially designed 3D-printed seat inserts. Red accents and a CZ26 logo add further personalisation.

Aerodynamics get a complete rethink

Ferrari has also redesigned much of the car’s aerodynamic package.

The front cooling system has been reworked with a new radiator layout and dedicated bypass ducts. The underbody and vortex generators have also been redesigned to improve aerodynamic balance.

At the rear, the CZ26 gets a large upper spoiler and dedicated diffuser designed to increase downforce without sacrificing efficiency. New vents around the engine cover also improve heat management.

Final Take

The Ferrari CZ26 is essentially a designer’s interpretation of the SF90 Stradale. Rather than simply adding a few bespoke details, Ferrari has completely reshaped the car’s bodywork around a cleaner, more technical theme.

It may not have a new powertrain, but visually, the CZ26 looks like a Ferrari from a different era, and that is exactly what makes this one-off so interesting.
