The India bound Skoda Karoq SUV has been spotted Testing on the streets of Pune, Maharashtra. After diving deep into the spy shots, we can pick out some highlight details of this upcoming SUV. The horizontally placed all LED Headlights, the Front Grille and the front profile in general highly resembles the Skoda Kodiaq. From the Sides, the 17-inch Alloy Wheels is what stands out the most, although Skoda might offer an alternative Wheel option when it’s fully launched.
Apart from the Wheels. The Side Profile really reflects that Crossover flair, which is quite amazing. The India Spec Karoq is based on Skoda’s A0 IN Platform, which has been specifically made for India and the Karoq will be the first model to be based on this Platform.
The interior will be equipped with a Large Touch Screen Infotainment Screen which will also include Android Auto and Apple Car Play. Skoda will also offer a Panoramic Sunroof as an optional extra.
Under the Hood is expected to be a BS6 Compliant 2.0L Diesel Engine. A 1.5L Turbo Petrol is also expected to available as an option on the Karoq. The Karoq is expected to get a 6-Speed Manual as standard whereas a Dual Clutch will be an option. The Skoda Karoq is expected to make its debut by April 2020 and will Rival the Jeep Compass, Honda CR-V and the Hyundai Tuscon.
