Jeep Compass is the most successful product launch by FCA in recent years in India. The company has sold more than 7500 units of Compass until October 2017. FCA announced a recall of Compass over passenger side airbag issue. The issue is that faster of passenger side airbag is loose and it might be a hazard during an accident. Even though FCA hasn’t received any incidents. The recall is for 1200 compass manufactured between September 5 and November 19, 2017. This is part of global recall in which 7000 units are affected in US and 1000 units in Canada.
