Jeep Reveals New Avenger with Fresh Design, More Tech and New 85th Anniversary Edition

Jeep has officially revealed the updated Jeep Avenger, giving its smallest SUV a major refresh with new technology, updated styling, and a special 85th Anniversary Edition. Jeep has already opened order books for the new Avenger in Europe.

Jeep’s Smallest SUV Keeps Getting Bigger Success

The Avenger has become one of Jeep’s most successful models in Europe. Jeep says the SUV has already crossed 270,000 orders globally with around 60% electrified variants.

The company also says the Avenger is currently:

  • One of Europe’s best-selling B-SUVs
  • The best-selling SUV in Italy

Fresh Exterior Design

The updated Avenger gets several visual upgrades while keeping its compact Jeep identity intact.

New highlights include:

  • Illuminated seven-slot grille
  • Redesigned bumpers
  • New alloy wheel designs
  • Fresh color options
  • Updated LED lighting

More Premium Interior

Jeep has redesigned parts of the cabin to improve overall quality and comfort.

Updates include:

  • Softer door materials
  • Padded dashboard inserts
  • New upholstery options
  • Ambient lighting
  • New washable interiors on 4xe versions

The SUV also keeps practical storage-focused features throughout the cabin.

Big Technology Upgrades

One of the biggest improvements comes in the form of:

  • New LED Matrix headlights
  • Front camera with 360-degree parking view

Jeep says the matrix lighting system improves:

  • Night visibility
  • Corner illumination
  • Driver comfort during long drives

The new 360-degree camera system can digitally recreate a top-down view of the vehicle while parking.

New Petrol Engine Added

The updated Avenger also gets a brand-new 1.2-litre Turbo 100 petrol engine producing 101 hp and 205 Nm torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox.

Jeep says the new engine improves:

  • Fuel efficiency
  • Durability
  • Maintenance intervals

Electric Version Offers 400 km Range

The fully electric Avenger produces 156 hp and uses a 54kWh battery. Jeep claims up to 400 km WLTP range. The EV also supports 100 kW DC fast charging

4xe Version Still Focuses on Off-Roading

The Avenger 4xe remains the most adventure-focused version.

It gets:

  • All-wheel drive
  • Rear electric motor
  • Extra ground clearance
  • Off-road styling elements

Jeep says the SUV can handle:

  • 40% gravel slopes
  • 20% slopes, even with no front axle grip

85th Anniversary Edition

To celebrate Jeep’s 85th anniversary, the company has also launched a dedicated special edition.

It gets:

  • Gold-finished wheels and accents
  • Tartan-inspired graphics
  • Special anniversary badging
  • Unique upholstery
  • Illuminated grille

Jeep says the edition celebrates the brand’s long off-road heritage while adding a more lifestyle-focused character.

Final Take

The updated Jeep Avenger looks like a smart evolution rather than a complete redesign. Jeep has improved the areas that matter most: technology, interior quality, and powertrain choices, while keeping the rugged personality that made the Avenger popular in the first place.
