JK Tyre launches New OTR Tyres for Construction and Mining

JK Tyre has launched four new off-the-road (OTR) tyre solutions at BAUMA CONEXPO INDIA 2026 in Greater Noida. The new range is aimed at construction, material handling and mining equipment, with a focus on durability, traction and load-carrying ability.

The latest products expand JK Tyre’s premium OTR portfolio and have been developed for demanding operating conditions across India’s construction, infrastructure and mining sectors.

Four New Tyres

The new products include:

  • 12.5/80-18 MPT 45 16PR TL – Self-Loading Concrete Mixers and Backhoe Loaders
  • 16/70-20 MPT117 14PR TL – Self-Loading Concrete Mixers and Telehandlers
  • 18-19.5 MPT117 18PR TL – Self-Loading Concrete Mixers
  • 12.00R20 JDO XD OTR 22PR 156/153F TT – Mining Tippers

Built for Tough Conditions

The MPT 45 has been developed for strong traction and stability across mixed terrain. Its tread design is intended to support even wear and longer service life on Self-Loading Concrete Mixers and Backhoe Loaders.

The MPT117 is designed for construction and material-handling applications, offering grip, durability and improved manoeuvrability. The 18-19.5 version has been specifically developed for Self-Loading Concrete Mixers.

For mining applications, the JDO XD gets a heavy-duty construction and reinforced casing. JK Tyre says it is designed to resist cuts, chips and abrasions while handling demanding loads on Mining Tippers.

Focus on Operating Costs

The new tyres have been developed around Indian operating conditions, with emphasis on durability, high load-carrying capability and extended service life. JK Tyre says these characteristics are intended to help fleet operators improve machine uptime and reduce total operating costs.
