The Indian Racing Festival (IRF), India’s leading city-based motorsport league, has taken an exciting new turn with Kannada superstar Kichcha Sudeepa launching Kichcha’s Kings Bengaluru (KKB) — the official racing team representing Bengaluru.
This marks a powerful crossover between cinema and motorsport. Known for his blockbuster films and massive fan following, Sudeepa brings star power and cultural pride to the race track. His entry into motorsport isn’t just business—it’s a passionate move to represent Karnataka’s spirit, talent, and youth in a growing sport.

The Indian Racing Festival 2025 kicks off this August, with teams from cities like Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, and Goa competing on street circuits and professional tracks across the country. This season promises a mix of thrilling action and entertainment, with a focus on regional fan bases, celebrity team owners, and promoting Indian racing talent.
Sudeepa shared,
“This is not just another team, it’s an emotion. Racing, like cinema, is full of adrenaline — it’s about instinct, timing, and passion. Kichcha’s Kings Bengaluru is a tribute to my city, its drive, and its dreams. Motorsport in India is ready to go mainstream, and I want to lead that charge from the South.”

With city-based teams, gender-balanced drivers, and live national coverage, the Indian Racing Festival is shaping into a sports-entertainment revolution.
