Level 2 ADAS and New Z8T Variant; Mahindra Scorpio-N Gets Smarter and Safer

Mahindra has announced a major upgrade to its much-loved SUV, the Scorpio-N. The SUV now comes equipped with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), making it one of the most high-tech and safest SUVs in its segment. This smart safety suite is now available in the premium Z8L variant and brings a new level of intelligence and protection to the Scorpio-N. This is indeed a great decision and upgrade by Mahindra.

The newly added ADAS features make driving easier, safer, and more comfortable. Key highlights include:

  • Forward Collision Warning – Alerts the driver about a potential crash.
  • Automatic Emergency Braking – Applies brakes if the driver doesn’t react in time.
  • Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go – Maintains safe distance and handles traffic smoothly.
  • Smart Pilot Assist – Assists with lane-keeping and steering.
  • Lane Departure Warning & Lane Keep Assist – Warns if you drift from your lane and gently guides the vehicle back.
  • Traffic Sign Recognition – Detects road signs and alerts the driver.
  • High Beam Assist – Automatically switches headlights for oncoming traffic.

Mahindra has also introduced two exclusive features along with ADAS:

  • Speed Limit Assist – Alerts and adjusts speed based on road limits.
  • Front Vehicle Start Alert – Notifies the driver when the vehicle ahead starts moving.

These features enhance the Scorpio-N’s already strong safety profile, backed by its 5-star Global NCAP safety rating.

Introducing the New Z8T Variant – More Value, More Features

Mahindra has also launched the new Z8T variant, which offers premium features from the Z8L at a more accessible price. Positioned between the Z8 and Z8L, the Z8T includes:

  • 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels
  • 12-speaker Sony audio system
  • Front camera & parking sensors
  • 6-way powered driver seat
  • Electronic parking brake (EPB)
  • Ventilated front seats
  • Auto-dimming rearview mirror (IRVM)

The Z8T is designed to offer a great balance of performance, style, technology, and value.

Mahindra is also celebrating a major milestone—three successful years of Scorpio-N with over 2.5 lakh satisfied customers across India. With continuous upgrades, strong performance, and unbeatable safety, the Scorpio-N has become one of India’s most desirable premium SUVs.
