The much awaiting Sub-Compact SUV from the country’s second largest manufacturer is officially launched in India. We have seen, the car has been tested and evaluated at the most demanding conditions across the length and breadth of India to ensure its potential to compete with the emerging Compact-suv segment in India.Moreover, it provides some unique India bound connectivity features for the first time in its segment.
VENUE will be available in showrooms with 2 petrol and 1 diesel engine options to choose from. The newly introduced 1.0 L Turbo petrol producing 120ps power and 172 Nms of torque will avail in either the proven 6-speed manual transmission or with a newly in-house developed 7-speed DCT. Secondly, the 1.2 L petrol with 83 ps power and 115 Nm of torque will avail with a 5-speed manual transmission. Furthermore, the 1.4 L Diesel option is only avail in a proven 6-speed manual transmission with a power output of 90 Ps and 220 Nm of toque.
The Hyundai Blue-link Connectivity feature is the highlighted feature in the Venue. The smart connectivity option provides 33 features out of which 10 are India specific. With the use of a Vodafone-Idea e-sim the car provides Services incorporates with Safety, Geographic information system, vehicle management Artificial intelligence based alert services .The Blue-link services will be complimentary for the first 3 years and thereafter customer need to renew the service.
The car is packed in four trim levels – E, S, SX, and SX(0) with best in classs interior options available in each trims with price ranging from 6.50 L to 10.84 L. More updates on the cool connected features and road test report will be updated soon.
