Mahindra Reopens Bookings for BE 6 Batman Edition

Indian automaker Mahindra & Mahindra has announced the return of the Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition following strong demand from fans.

Developed in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery, the special edition SUV originally sold out its entire allocation of 999 units in just 135 seconds, quickly becoming a collector’s favourite.

Due to continued interest across social media, Mahindra will reopen bookings for a limited time.

Variant and Specifications

The Batman Edition is based on the top-spec Pack Three 79 kWh variant of the BE 6 electric SUV.

Key design elements include:

• Custom Satin Black exterior colour
• R20 alloy wheels
• Alchemy Gold-painted suspension and brake callipers
• “BE 6 x The Dark Knight” rear badging
• Bat emblem placed on hub caps, quarter panels, rear bumper and windows
• Infinity Roof featuring The Dark Knight Bat emblem
• Carpet lamps projecting the Bat symbol

Interior and Features

The interior continues the Batman theme with premium materials and gold accents.

• Brushed Alchemy Gold Batman Edition plaque on the dashboard
• Charcoal leather instrument panel with a gold halo around the cockpit
• Suede and leather upholstery with gold stitching
• Gold-accented steering wheel and controls
• Bat emblem embossed on seats and interior elements
• Race-inspired door straps with Batman Edition branding
• Batman-themed welcome animation on the infotainment display

Battery and Range

The Mahindra BE 6, including the Batman Edition, which is based on the top-spec Pack Three variant, uses the larger 79 kWh battery pack.

Key battery details:

• Battery capacity – 79 kWh
• Claimed range – Up to 683 km on a full charge (ARAI)
• Real-world range – Around 450-500 km, depending on driving conditions
• Fast charging – 20% to 80% in about 20 minutes using a DC fast charger
• AC home charging – Around 6 to 8 hours with an 11.2 kW charger

Mahindra also offers a smaller 59 kWh battery on lower variants, which delivers a claimed range of about 557 km.

Booking Timeline

Customers will be able to register their interest starting March 6, 2026, with bookings opening on March 10, 2026, at 11:00 Am for one day. Deliveries are scheduled to begin on April 10, 2026.

Mahindra has also confirmed that referrals from existing BE 6 Batman Edition owners will receive priority delivery.
