Maruti Suzuki CSR initiatives get top rank: Rated ‘4 Good’ by The Economic Times

New Delhi, 28th February 2019: In recognition of its extensive and deeply impactful social interventions, Maruti Suzuki was rated ‘4 Good’ by the prestigious Economic Times 2 Good 4 Good CSR rating scheme. This is the highest rating accorded to any company under this rating model designed by KPMG. Mr A K Tomer, Executive Director, Corporate Planning, Maruti Suzuki India Limited accepted the award on behalf of the Company from the esteemed jury at a glittering ceremony, yesterday evening.

The evaluation and scoring for these ratings are conducted basis a thorough investigation of a company’s CSR programmes by an esteemed independent jury and KPMG India, the knowledge partners of this rating methodology. Reach, impact, sustainability along with future road maps are all important considerations under the multi-level assessment undertaken. Before final conferral of ratings, the jury additionally studied the scorecard of each company under consideration for the ratings at an absolute and comparative level along with qualitative inputs from the different jury members.
