Altroz, the upcoming premium Tata hatchback is caught ahead of its unveil.

The much awaiting premium hatchbach from the Tata Motors is caught on our camera while test run it ahead of its market reveal. Watch the Exclusive pics here!

The car was first rendered as the 45X Concept in the 2019 Geneva motor show, and it got many positive feedbacks for its visionary design. Now Tata is testing their production ready car under the camouflaged tapes.

The car will be the second product from Tata after the Harrier, on the impact 2.0 design philosophy. It is evident from the images that the car will be really striking in terms of design. Furthermore, the exterior of the car points to the roomy interior and space for new premium outfits. For sake of this, it will slot above the Tiago hatch.

The next production highlight of Altroz is that it will be manufactured under the Tata’s newly developed platform called AMP (Advanced Modular Platform). The AMP platform is well capable for outweighing the future crash test regulations, so Tata has the right anticipation with this new car.

From the spy shots it is clear that Tata has retained the design cues that they showcased on the 2018 45X Concept. The front end looks very sharp and the honey comp grille enhances its aggression. While considering the effects of Impact 2.0 design it is expected to have more premium looking treatments all around the body. The styling at the rear end resembles to the tail amp architecture that we seen on Harrier. However, the sharply scooped lines at the rear is distinct. The other key thing to notice on the exterior is the shifting of rear door handles to the C-pillar. Overall, the car is well marked even in the camouflaged form. So, we need to wait a while in order to explore it in its fullest form.

The Altroz is expected to launch soon in India and expected to have both the diesel and petrol variants with manual and automatic transmissions to choose from.
