Mercedes-Benz to Unveil New S-Class in India on June 15

Mercedes-Benz India has confirmed that the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class will be unveiled in India on June 15, 2026.

Most Advanced S-Class Yet

Mercedes-Benz describes the updated S-Class as the “Most advanced S-Class ever”. The luxury sedan reportedly gets more than 50 per cent new or updated components, along with major upgrades to:

• Technology
• Digital systems
• Comfort features

The new S-Class will also debut MB.OS

Mercedes-Benz’s latest operating system focused on improving the car’s:

• Digital experience
• Connectivity
• User interface

First Plug-in Hybrid S-Class for India

For the first time, Mercedes-Benz India will unveil the S-Class Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) in India.

The company says the move highlights its powertrain-agnostic strategy, which aims to offer customers multiple powertrain choices instead of focusing on just one technology.

Mercedes-Benz says the S-Class has remained the Heart of the brand for decades and continues to set benchmarks in the luxury sedan segment globally.

The S-Class has historically introduced several technologies that later became standard across the automotive industry, helping it earn the reputation of being “The best car in the world” among luxury car enthusiasts.
