Mini is developing a new compact SUV for entry level segment. Earlier Mini was planning to stuck to 5 models only. But the growing demand of SUVs meant that Mini can’t miss the rush. So the company is developing a new front wheel drive platform which will underpin the latest SUV. We can expect BMW also to use this platform for a sub X1 model. The company hasn’t revealed much details about the upcoming model. But the design will take inspirations from electric Mini concept. We can expect Mini to reveal small SUV concept in 2019 and the launch would take place in 2021.
