Audi officially revealed new generation A8 L earlier this year. The A8 L has been spotted in Indian roads for sometime now. Audi already confirmed that the company is going to launch new A8 L in India next year. The A8 L is listed in Audi India website before the launch. Audi A8 L in India is powered by two engine options – 55 TFSI and 50 TDI. The petrol engine is 3.0 L turbocharged V6 unit producing 340 PS of power and 500 NM of torque.
The 50 TDI is powered by 3.0 L TDI turbocharged diesel engine producing 286 PS of power and 600 NM of torque. Both these engines are mated to 8 speed automatic gearbox with Quattro all wheel drive system. Audi is also offer autonomous driving system on A8 L and it is yet to confirm whether this system comes to India. Audi A8 L arrives in India as a CBU model and the price is expected to be upwards of Rs. 1.Crore.
