River Mobility has crossed the 100-showroom milestone in India within three years of starting operations. The electric scooter manufacturer marked the expansion by opening 10 new outlets in a single day, strengthening its presence across five states.
The latest showrooms are located in Lucknow, Agra, Udaipur, Ajmer, Chennai, Puducherry, Navi Mumbai, Pune and Visakhapatnam, along with Delhi.
With the latest additions, River’s retail network now spans 65 cities across 12 states. The company aims to make its flagship electric scooter, the Indie, more accessible through a wider sales and service network.
Key expansion plans include:
The expansion is backed by the company’s USD 120 million Series C funding, which is being directed towards scaling its retail and service operations.
River’s flagship Indie is positioned as the ‘SUV of scooters’, combining utility-focused design with everyday practicality. Its showrooms offer customers test rides, bookings, accessories and merchandise, supported by service facilities.
The company says its retail expansion is aimed at improving accessibility while maintaining a consistent ownership experience across markets.
