Royal Enfield Art of Motorcycling Season 6 Goes Retro with ‘Game Mode On’

Royal Enfield has announced Season 6 of its Art of Motorcycling initiative, inviting artists and creative enthusiasts to reimagine motorcycling through the world of retro 16-bit gaming. The new edition, themed ‘Game Mode On’, will accept entries until October 21, 2026, with winners set to be announced between November 5 and 10.

Motorcycling Meets Retro Gaming

This year’s theme asks participants to turn the thrill of riding into their own video game-inspired artwork, complete with pixelated landscapes, imagined levels and motorcycles as the hero of the story.

  • Open across 13 regions, including India, Japan, Brazil, Mexico and the UK
  • The UK joins the competition for the first time
  • Entries can be digital or hand-drawn
  • Artists can compete across Adults and Kids categories

A Growing Global Creative Platform

What began in 2020 as an initiative to support Indian artists has grown into a global platform. Royal Enfield says Art of Motorcycling has received more than 150,000 registrations since its launch.

  • Expanded internationally in 2024
  • Now reaches artists across 13 countries and regions
  • Includes illustrators, photographers, graphic artists and other creatives
  • The Kids Edition remains exclusive to India

The Adult competition will see entries shortlisted at a regional level before progressing to the global stage, while the Riders’ Choice award will allow the Royal Enfield community to vote for their favourite designs.

The Winners Head to Motoverse

The best entries will get more than just bragging rights. The top seven designs across regions will earn an all-expenses-paid trip to Motoverse 2026, Royal Enfield’s annual community event in Goa, where the winning artworks will also appear on exclusive Art of Motorcycling apparel.

  • Registrations opened: August 28, 2026
  • Submissions begin: September 11, 2026
  • Last date to register: October 21, 2026
  • Winners announced: November 5–10, 2026

Final Take

With Game Mode On, Royal Enfield is taking Art of Motorcycling in a more playful direction while continuing to expand its creative community globally. The retro gaming theme gives artists plenty of room to experiment, and with a trip to Motoverse on the line, Season 6 could be one of the initiative’s most engaging editions yet.
