Castrol India Limited, India’s leading automotive and industrial lubricant manufacturing and marketing company, announced the appointment of Sangeeta Talwar as an independent non-executive director to the Board of Directors of Castrol India Limited with effect from 23 July 2018.In a career spanning over 30 years, Sangeeta Talwar has worked across large European, American and Indian corporations. She has worked with the private sector in India and in Switzerland, as well as spearheaded the implementation of a national level social sector World Bank funded project in rural India. Sangeeta has been recognized as Business Today’s ‘30 Most Powerful Women in Indian Business’ (2007, 2009 and 2010) and the India Today ‘Woman in the Corporate World’ in 2010.
