Simple Energy Launches Ultra Electric Scooter with 400 km Range

Simple Energy has launched the all-new Simple Ultra in India at ₹2,34,999 (ex-showroom).

This marks the company’s fourth product movement in 2026. The scooter is now available for purchase, and deliveries have already begun.

Performance and Range

The Simple Ultra focuses on range and performance.

  • 6.5 kWh battery
  • 400 km IDC range
  • Top speed of 115 km/h
  • 0-40 km/h in 2.77 seconds

It is currently India’s second-fastest electric scooter after the Simple One (5 kWh variant).

Features

The scooter comes with:

  • Four-level traction control
  • Seven-inch rider display

It is designed for long-distance riding with a focus on performance and usability.

Simple Energy has made the Ultra available for:

  • Immediate booking
  • Test rides
  • Browse accessories

Network Expansion

The company currently operates close to 70 touchpoints across cities, including Bengaluru, Delhi, Patna, Bhopal, Agra, Goa, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Kochi, Chennai, and many more.

Product Lineup

The Simple Ultra joins the company’s existing lineup.

Earlier this year, Simple Energy launched:

  • Simple One Gen 2 (236 km and 265 km range variants, starting at ₹1,94,999)
  • Simple One S Gen 2 (190 km range, priced at ₹1,74,999)
