Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 launched in India.

Suzuki introduced their new member into the Gixxer series, The Gixxer SF250. The sporty fully-faired bike is the brand’s trump card in the fast emerging 200-300 cc segment.

The 250ccc single cylinder, oil cooled engine is the trade mark in its arrival. Unlike its rivals Suzuki incorporates oil cooling to cool down the powerhouse which produces 26.5ps and 22.6 Nm of torque.Furthermore, the engine is BSVI compliant with fuel-injection.

Upon front, the large LED headlight with sharp edges at the bottom is really head-turning.The well proportioned character lines in the fairing meet with the fuel tank enhances its sportiness. The badge slips are neatly imprinted,other than this no other graphics were provided on the the body.Moreover, the engine shade is finished in a golden color and the muffler tip has given chrome treatment.

The front suspension incorporates a Telescopic fork while the rear side has a swing arm mount Mono shock. The front wheel occupies a 110/70R-17 radial tyre while the rear wheel has 150/60R-17 wider radial tyre. Dual channel ABS controls both the front and read wheels.This bike has a kerb weight of 161 kgs and fuel tank capacity of 12 Litres

The Gixxer SF 250 takes the likes on the Yamaha Fazer 25, Honda CBR250R , KTM RC 200, Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 and the Bajaj Dominar 400. The Ex-showroom price is listed as 1.71 Lakh.
