New Delhi, November 02, 2019: The festivities brought in some cheer for the automobile industry. At Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL), a subsidiary of two-wheeler manufacturer, Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan, the festive month marked not only the highest ever retail volumes for its dealer network but was another month of sustained growth in the face of continuing slowdown that the two-wheeler industry faces as SMIPL clocked its highest-ever monthly domestic sale of 66,215 units during the month of October 2019 as compared to 61,768 units sold in October 2018.
Overall, SMIPL registers Y-O-Y growth of 13.61% with monthly sales of 74,610 units (Domestic + Exports) in October 2019 as compared to 65,673 units sold in October last year. Cumulatively, Suzuki Motorcycle India stands at 4,94,286 units sales for the period between April – October 2019.
Rejoicing over the impressive sales performance, Mr. Koichiro Hirao, Managing Director, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd. said, “We are proud to announce highest ever monthly sales in October 2019.
