Tata Nexon Now Gets a Panoramic Sunroof Under ₹10 Lakh

Tata Motors has launched a new Pure + PS variant of the Tata Nexon at a starting price of ₹9.59 lakh (ex-showroom).

And the biggest highlight? The Nexon has now become the first car in India under ₹10 lakh to offer a panoramic sunroof.

A Big Feature at a Lower Price

Panoramic sunroofs were once limited to much more expensive SUVs, but Tata is now bringing the feature into the affordable compact SUV segment.

The new Nexon Pure + PS gets:

  • Voice-assisted panoramic sunroof
  • Larger infotainment screen
  • Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
  • 6-speaker sound system
  • Cruise control
  • Auto LED headlamps
  • Rain-sensing wipers
  • Rear camera with parking sensors

Overall, Tata seems to be focusing heavily on making the Nexon feel more premium without pushing the price too high.

Multiple Engine Options Continue

Like before, the Nexon continues with multiple powertrain choices, including:

  • Petrol
  • Diesel
  • Twin-cylinder CNG

The SUV uses Tata’s:

  • 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine
  • Producing 118 hp

Tata also says the Nexon continues to offer one of the most fuel-efficient diesel setups in the segment.

Prices

The new Pure + PS variant is available in multiple versions:

  • Petrol MT – ₹9.59 lakh
  • Petrol AMT – ₹10.14 lakh
  • CNG MT – ₹10.39 lakh
  • Diesel MT – ₹10.54 lakh
  • Diesel AMT – ₹11.19 lakh

Nexon’s Strong Run Continues

Tata says the Nexon has now crossed 10 lakh units on Indian roads. The SUV has remained one of the country’s best-selling models for years and continues to be a strong player in the compact SUV segment.

Final Take

The new Nexon Pure + PS is clearly aimed at buyers who want premium features without spending too much more. A panoramic sunroof under ₹10 lakh is a big headline feature, and combined with multiple engine options and strong equipment levels, the Nexon continues to push hard on value in the compact SUV space.
