VIDA Begins Global Journey with Entry into Nepal

Hero MotoCorp’s electric mobility brand VIDA has made its international debut with its entry into Nepal, marking the beginning of the brand’s global expansion. VIDA will operate in the country through a distributor partnership with CG Motors, part of the Chaudhary Group, one of Nepal’s largest business conglomerates.

As part of the launch, VIDA has introduced the VX2 EVOOTER electric scooter range and the DIRT.E K3 electric off-road motorcycle for young riders.

VIDA VX2 EVOOTER range

The VX2 EVOOTER lineup is available in two variants, VX2 Plus and VX2 Go, designed to cater to different commuting requirements.

VIDA VX2 Plus

The higher-spec VX2 Plus features:

  • Dual 2.2 kWh removable batteries (4.4 kWh total)
  • 140 km claimed real-world range
  • 90 km/h top speed
  • 0-40 km/h in 3.1 seconds
  • 18-degree gradeability
  • DC fast charging from 0-80% in 65 minutes

VIDA VX2 Go

The entry-level VX2 Go comes equipped with:

  • 2.2 kWh removable battery
  • 75 km claimed real-world range
  • 70 km/h top speed
  • 0-40 km/h in 4.2 seconds
  • DC fast charging from 0-80% in 65 minutes

Both variants feature removable batteries that can be charged using a standard 5A household socket.

Connected features

The VX2 range also comes equipped with a suite of connected technologies, including:

  • My VIDA smartphone app
  • Turn-by-turn navigation
  • Geo-fencing
  • Call and SMS alerts
  • Over-the-air (OTA) software updates

VIDA DIRT.E K3

Alongside the VX2 scooters, VIDA has also introduced the DIRT.E K3, an all-electric off-road motorcycle designed specifically for younger riders.

The DIRT.E K3 features:

  • Adjustable frame with three size configurations
  • 360Wh removable battery
  • Up to 3 hours of riding time (depending on terrain and riding mode)
  • 20-80% charging in around 2 hours

Parents can also control the motorcycle through a dedicated smartphone app, allowing them to adjust performance and set speed limits.

Three riding modes are available:

  • Mode 1: 8-9 km/h
  • Mode 2: 17-18 km/h
  • Mode 3: 23-24 km/h

International recognition

The VIDA DIRT.E K3 has already received global recognition for its design and innovation, winning:

  • Red Dot Design Award 2025
  • CES Innovation Award 2026
