VinFast Auto India has opened its biggest showroom in the country, located in Teynampet, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This new 4,700 sq. ft facility marks a major milestone in VinFast’s expansion across India and highlights the company’s commitment to the growing electric vehicle (EV) market.

The Chennai showroom is promoted by Maansarovar Motors, a trusted name in the city’s automotive scene. With its prime location and high visibility, the new outlet is designed to offer customers a seamless experience and strong brand presence. It will display VinFast’s premium electric SUVs, including the VF 6 and VF 7, giving customers a chance to explore the latest in electric mobility.

At the launch, Mr. Pham Sanh Chau, CEO of VinFast Asia, said, “Chennai’s innovation, skilled talent, and advanced infrastructure make it the perfect place for our largest dealership in India. We are excited to bring our premium electric vehicles closer to customers in Tamil Nadu and to work with Maansarovar Motors to redefine the EV ownership experience. This is not just a retail milestone, but a step toward building a greener, smarter, and future-ready India.”

VinFast plans to open 35 dealerships in more than 27 cities across India by the end of the year. The company started pre-bookings for the VF 6 and VF 7 electric SUVs on July 15, 2025. Customers can book their vehicle at any VinFast showroom or online at VinFastAuto.in with a fully refundable booking amount of ₹21,000.

To support its India entry, VinFast has partnered with RoadGrid, myTVS, and Global Assure to create a nationwide network for charging and after-sales service. The company has also teamed up with BatX Energies to promote battery recycling and build a circular battery value chain, showing its commitment to sustainability and responsible innovation.

With its largest showroom now open in Chennai, VinFast is taking a big step forward in making premium electric mobility accessible to more people in India.
