Volkswagen India brought an extra splash of excitement to Kerala this Onam with the launch of a bold new ‘Flash Red’ colour for its popular models – the Virtus and Taigun. The festive launch was made even more special as the brand celebrated with its customers by delivering 106 cars on Chingam 1st, marking the start of Kerala’s New Year.
The ‘Flash Red’ option is available on the GT Line trims of both models. Known for their sporty design, black-themed aesthetics, and feature-packed cabins, the Taigun and Virtus GT Line now look even more dynamic in this striking new shade.
Speaking about the launch, Nitin Kohli, Brand Director of Volkswagen India, said Kerala has always been one of the brand’s key markets. He noted that the Virtus has already become the best-selling premium sedan in the state, commanding a strong 49% market share in its segment.
By introducing the ‘Flash Red’ color during Onam, Volkswagen not only captured the festive spirit of Kerala but also reinforced its commitment to blending style, safety, and innovation for its customers.
