BMW S 1000 RR riders dominate the IRRC in Těrlicko.

Once again at the third round of the International Road Racing Championship season, in Těrlicko in the Czech Republic, there was no getting past the BMW racers. They claimed the top four positions and first three positions for the BMW S 1000 RR in the two races. In race one, Erno Kostamo (FIN / 38 Motorsport) finished in the top podium spot.

Davey Todd (GBR / WEPOL Racing) followed in second place, ahead of his team-mate Marek Červený (CZE) in third place. Didier Grams (GER / G & G Motorsport by BMW Motorrad) rounded off the top-four lockout in race one.

The second race was red flagged after three laps after a rider fell, and, due to a combination of factors including bad weather, was not restarted since there were delays in the schedule. This time it was Todd who won, Kostamo finished second and Grams third. Todd leads the championship standings.

Southern 100: Successes for BMW S 1000 RR riders.

BMW road racers were in action on the Isle of Man again last week, this time in the Southern 100. Three races were held for bikes with a 1,000 cc capacity, which were classified as part of the BMW Road Race Challenge for the BMW Motorrad Race Trophy. The RR finished on the podium in all three races. 

SuperBike Brasil: Fourth round of the season in Goiânia.

The 2019 season of SuperBike Brasil (BR SBK) headed to Goiânia (BRA) for its fourth race of the season. The best-placed BMW racer was Alex Barros (BRA / Alex Barros Racing) in fifth place. The seasoned rider showed the fans a courageous fightback on his BMW S 1000 RR when he worked his way up from the back of the field during the race.

MotoAmerica: BMW racers in action at Laguna Seca.

The MotoAmerica AMA Road Racing Series (MA) hosted its fifth race weekend of the season at Laguna Seca as part of the FIM Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK). In the first race in the Superbike class (MA SBK), Jeremy Coffey (USA / Superbike Underground) in ninth was the best BMW rider. In race two, Jake Gagne (USA / Scheibe Racing) finished in seventh place after retiring from the first race. Coffey finished in 13th place in the second race.
