Volvo XC60 Launched in India at Rs. 55.90 Lakhs

Volvo XC60 launched in India at Rs. 55.90 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom). The XC60 is in its second generation and based on new SPA platform which already underpin S90, V90 and XC90. Volvo XC60 continues the new design theme which debuted with XC90. The front get hammer headlights and 23 slat vertical grill which is the new fascia for all Volvo models. The side profile of XC60 is similar to bigger XC90. The rear get vertical LED tail lights which is a trade mark of Volvo’s.

The interior design is classy and understated like other new Volvo models. The XC60 get 9 inch touch screen infotainment system in centre console along with features like Nappa Leather, head-up display, adaptive cruise control, auto-hold, 360 parking camera, semi-autonomous parking, Bowers and Wilkins Audio system, four zone climate control and more. Volvo is also offering semi-autonomous driving feature on XC60 which steers, brake and accelerate on well-marked roads upto speed of 130 kph.

Volov XC60 is powered by 2.0 L D5 diesel engine producing 235 BHP of power and 480 NM of torque. This engine is mated to 8 speed automatic gearbox. Volvo is offering all wheel drive system on XC60 and the top speed is 203 Kph. Volvo will assemble the new XC60 in India to keep the cost down. Volvo XC60 compete against Audi Q5, BMW X3 and Mercedes Benz GLC.
