Munich, 10 September 2018 – WRC Promoter has completed a multi-year agreement to partner with specialist company PMI Premium Motorsport Insurance in the FIA World Rally Championship.
The Norwegian company brings an innovative approach to the insurance business and joins WRC Promoter’s rapidly-growing portfolio of top-level partners.
PMI’s business is focused solely on the motorsport community, providing competitive tailor-made policies for drivers, teams, clubs, associations and event organisers on an international basis.
The primary figures behind PMI are Morten Østberg and founding partners Jan Endresen, CEO at Tide Forsikring, and Anders Haggo.
Board director Østberg has garnered a wealth of knowledge and expertise about specific insurance needs during a long career in motorsport as a competitor and businessman.
Endresen has 30 years’ experience of the industry and Tide is one of Norway’s fastest-growing insurance providers, having been a Coverholder at Lloyds since 2014.
Haggo completes the PMI powerhouse. His insurance career spans more than 40 years in key roles, such as CEO of major international firms and several successful private ventures. He has spent more than 15 years in the motorsport insurance sector, working with leading drivers and teams.
PMI will benefit from visibility at all championship rounds and high-level prominence on the WRC’s officialwrc.com website and social media platforms to ensure direct reach to the global motorsport community.
“Our co-operation will help PMI to quickly raise awareness of the company and communicate directly with its target audience, introducing its special offers in a focused and precise manner,” explained WRC Promoter managing director Oliver Ciesla.
