Yamaha R15 Version 3.0 is one of the most awaited bikes to be launched in India. The R15 Version 3.0 was already spotted in India earlier this month. Now the bike has been spotted again, this time in Chennai. In the spy video, we can see R15 Version 3.0 passing through traffic. The riding position is sporty and aggressive like current R15 as it get clip on handler bars and rear set foot pegs.
To keep the cost down, Yamaha is using telescopic front forks instead of upside down forks on international models and we won’t get slipper clutch again for cost reasons. Yamaha R15 Version 3.0 is powered by 155 cc single cylinder engine producing 19.31 PS of power and 14.7 NM of torque. This engine is mated to 6 speed gearbox. We can expect Yamaha to introduce ABS as part of standard package. Yamaha will reveal R15 Version 3.0 in Auto Expo and launch is expected to take place by the middle of 2018.
