Yamaha YZF R15 Version 3.0 is one of the most awaited bikes to be launched in India. The R15 Version 3.0 was already spotted few times in public roads but with camouflage. Powerdrift managed to get clear spy shots of new R15 Version 3.0. The bike was spotted in Bangalore and reveals exterior changes for Indian model compared to International spec.
To keep the cost down, Yamaha has given regular telescopic forks instead of upside down forks. The R15 also missed out on slipper clutch too. But the new model will feature 155 cc liquid cooled engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) from International model. This engine produces 19.31 PS of power and 14.7 NM of torque. The power is sent to rear wheels via 6 speed gearbox. We can expect Yamaha to introduce ABS with R15 which was not available in current models. Yamaha R15 Version 3.0 will be launched in 2018.
