2026 Royal Enfield Classic 350 Gets Slipper Clutch and USB-C Charging

Royal Enfield has updated the 2026 Classic 350 with two new rider-focused features aimed at improving everyday usability. The iconic retro motorcycle now gets an Assist and Slipper Clutch along with a USB Type-C fast charging port, while the rest of the package remains unchanged.

The updates are available on all dual-channel ABS variants, with prices starting at ₹1.87 lakh (ex-showroom).

What’s new?

The biggest update is the addition of an Assist and Slipper Clutch, making the clutch lever lighter to operate. Royal Enfield says this should reduce rider fatigue during city rides while also delivering smoother gear shifts and downshifts.

The motorcycle also gains a USB Type-C fast charging port, allowing riders to charge smartphones and other compatible devices while on the move.

Mechanicals remain unchanged

Power continues to come from the familiar 349cc, single-cylinder, air-oil-cooled J-series engine, known for its relaxed performance and strong low-end torque.

The engine is paired with the same gearbox and continues to offer the laid-back riding experience the Classic 350 is known for.

Available in nine colours

The 2026 Classic 350 continues with its signature retro styling and will be offered in nine colour options. The updated model is available across Royal Enfield dealerships from today.

Final Take

The Classic 350 didn’t need a major overhaul, and Royal Enfield has wisely resisted the temptation. Instead, it has added two genuinely useful features that riders will appreciate every day. A lighter clutch and USB-C charging may not sound revolutionary, but they’re the kind of updates that make an already popular motorcycle even easier to live with.
