Suzuki has unveiled the 2027 Hayabusa Special Edition, giving its flagship superbike a fresh look while retaining the legendary 1,340cc engine and electronics package. The special edition celebrates the Hayabusa’s legacy with exclusive cosmetic upgrades and a handful of equipment enhancements.
What’s new?
The biggest changes are cosmetic, with the Special Edition getting an exclusive finish and several premium detailing touches.
Highlights include:
- Exclusive Pearl Brilliant White & Metallic Oort Gray paint scheme
- Red accents and Hayabusa graphics
- Special Edition fuel tank badge
- Raised Suzuki lettering on the tank
- Black-finished twin exhaust end caps
- Colour-matched rear seat cowl
- New high-capacity lithium-ion battery
Same legendary 1,340cc engine
Power continues to come from Suzuki’s iconic 1,340cc inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine paired with ride-by-wire throttle bodies.
The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quickshifter, while the twin stainless-steel exhausts remain unchanged.
Updated rider electronics
The Hayabusa continues to feature Suzuki’s Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.), which includes:
- Multiple riding modes
- Traction Control
- Launch Control
- Motion Track ABS
- Combined Brake System
- Bi-directional Quickshifter
- Smart Cruise Control
For 2027, Suzuki has refined the Launch Control system, while Smart Cruise Control now remains active even when shifting gears using the quickshifter.

The mechanical package remains unchanged and includes:
